The Advisory Board of TRANSCODE is composed of representatives from the following organisations:
RECOGIN (Representative Council of Ghanaian Organizations in the Netherlands) is an umbrella organization embracing about 48 Ghanaian Self-Organizations and churches. RECOGIN was registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce and inaugurated in 1993. It has since continued to develop the democratic instruments to strengthen its structure. Recogin owns the Ghanaian Community Foundation Netherlands (SGGN), which is the administrative arm of the RECOGIN Council.
ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) was initiated by the Seventh-day Adventist church. ADRA seeks to identify and address social injustice and deprivation in developing countries. The agency’s work seeks to improve the quality of life of those in need. ADRA invests in the potential of these individuals through community development initiatives targeting Food Security, Economic Development, Primary Health and Basic Education. ADRA’s emergency management initiatives provide aid to disaster survivors.
DCMO (Dutch Consortium of Migrant Organizations) unites Diaspora organizations which inspired by culture and/or faith share the wish to contribute in a positive way to the enhancement of a multicultural global society. DCMO members believe migration and migrants may contribute to a just developent of the World.
NRCO (National Reintegration Program of the Philippines) promotes the delivery of responsive, productive and sustainable reintegration services to OFW returnees that will enable them to maximize the gains of overseas employment, mitigate the social costs of migration and cushion the impact of forced repatriation due to unexpected events. The reintegration program was institutionalized in 1995 with the creation of the Re-Placement and Monitoring Center (RPMC) and with the establishment of the National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) under the Department of Labor and Employment.
